It's another xmas with family.  It's all fun bringing childhood memories back...  So much I think I could do differently if I have another chance.  Man, what would I be if I changed all those mistakes???  Taller, smarter, richer, better, or will it take another turn for the worst?  Would you change anything in your life?  If you have only one to change, what would it be?

I met so many old friends at the Tet Festival this year.  The bad thing is that I don't remember many of their names.  Sometimes, I don't even remember their faces and hence, I don't even know who they are.  How sad.  Life without friends is...??? Lonely?  Sad?  Sucks? No life? 

Well, I am blessed with many good friends and I am rich, very rich.  I take it this way.  If I will have to pay some ransom (or to pick between a pile of money and a friend) to keep a certain friend alive, how much will I pay for that boy or that girl or that ba'c (family members are priceless - kho^ng co' gia')... I then think of how many people around me am I willing to do that.  Lots.  I am so rich now since I have all of them around me and I didn't really have to pay anything at all... except some cha^`u pho+? every now and then...  Aren't you rich too?

I love cold weather.  I wish I could be back in Europe/Paris during this season.  Maybe after my company (HP site plant) close down in February.

I often say that I find joy in helping others and doing community stuff... but then there are other times that I thought if I can be a normal person and just go hang out with regular friends (non-organizational friends) at coffee shops, billiards, clubbing (which I still do every few weeks), X-mas shopping... 

I asked my co-worker (ride share with him) what he did last weekend.  He said x-mas shopping, visit family, movie, cafe shop, watch lots of TV, rest...  When he asked me what I did, I said just like any other week.  Two meetings right after work on Friday until midnight, events and meetings all day on Saturday, engagement of my coolest couple - Phu & YK (high light of the week), then two more meetings after that until 11PM.  Life goes on just like any other week and I am back to work and trying to make some bucks to survive.  I need long vacations like the days "When I was young..." song.

Back to my high school life ideal:

"Sống vì mọi người và vì mọi người mà sống" or

"Live for people and because of people you live"

Is it still true?
